Myra Judith Choate, 94, of Marble Hill, Mo., died on Feb. 13, 2022, at Stonebridge Care Center in Marble Hill. Born on June 18, 1927, in Pittsburgh, Penn., she was the daughter of Frank and Helen Miller, Sr.
Myra and Charles William Choate were married in Pittsburgh on August 4, 1945. They moved to Marble Hill and established several businesses. Myra owned and operated the Copper Skillet Restaurant in Lutesville for 35 years. She enjoyed cooking for her family, playing cards, and visiting the oceanside.
She is survived by two sons: Lonnie (Susan) Choate of Marble Hill and Bill (Karen) Choate of Alabama; a daughter, Linda (Don) Caldwell of Marble Hill and a sister, Mary Lou Kimmick of South Carolina; 10 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren, and six great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband; a daughter, Donna Tinnin; a brother, Frank Miller, Jr.; a grandchild; and a great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be scheduled for a future date. Hutchings Funeral Chapel is assisting the family.
