Nancy Sharon Frederico, 83, of Marble Hill, passed away on January 27, 2026, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born on September 17, 1942, to Jessie and Lorraine (Davis) Milhous, in Yuba City, California.
Nancy was a devoted Head Start teacher in Bollinger County for 25 years, touching the lives of countless children and families. She enjoyed playing cards and bingo with friends at Stonebridge Senior Living, crafting and crocheting, and traveling around the country. Above all, Nancy was a wonderful mother and grandmother who deeply loved her family. She will be remembered for her kindness, creativity, and the care she showed to everyone around her.
She is survived by her son: Steven (Sandra) Frederico of San Diego, CA; "granddaughter": Elizabeth Kempfer; brother: Walter Milhous of Sacramento, CA; three grandsons and nine great-grandchildren of North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters: Donna Owens and Wanda Milhous.
The Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill is assisting the family with Nancy’s final wishes.
