Otis Lee

Otis Lee aged 86 of Glen Allen Missouri passed away at his home this past Friday April the 4th 2025. Otis was born 5 May 1938 in Lutesville Missouri to his parents the late George and Beulah (Davis) Lee. Otis graduated from Woodland High School in 1955. Otis was blessed with a mechanical mind and had a knack for fixing cars and equipment and proceeded to follow this path in his life but the U.S. Army intervened as it does sometimes  and drafted him and he served with the 24 Infantry Division in Germany from 1960-1962. After the hitch in the Army he continued work as an automotive mechanic where he met his wife of 59 years Orla (Rotunda). He took a job with the government and joined the Army Reserves and served the 102nd ARCOM in both his civilian and military career starting off as a mechanic, shop foreman and finally an equipment specialist and retired from the reserves with the rank of CWO4. After health issues thrust retirement upon him he was blessed to be able to enjoy the fruits of his labors and that was his farm,family and friends. He loved taking care of his horses and mules and his grandchildren.

Otis was united in marriage 7 August 1965 to his lovely wife Orla who he is survived by. He is also survived by his two Sons, Greg (Kathleen) of Festus, Rick (Amanda)of St Louis and his four granddaughters Ruth,Emma,Anna and Maggie Lee. 

He was preceded in death by his parents and all of his siblings. His sisters  Merle,Lilli, Mary Sue,Christina,Mabel and one sister Gerry who died in childbirth. His Brothers Harry, Alvis, George Jr, Gary, Gerald (Ed).

Visitation & funeral services will be held Monday April 14, 2025,  at the Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 PM with the funeral services beginning at 6:00 PM with Brother Gerald Huff officiating.
