Ralph Jackson, 92, of Cape Girardeau, Mo., formerly of Gipsy, Mo., died on February 7, 2022, at the Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Mo. Born in Senath, Mo., on December 28, 1929, he was the son of Louis E. and Bessie Corzine Jackson. He married Margaret Click on February 19, 1960. She preceded him in death.
Ralph enjoyed hunting, especially deer hunting, and fishing. He had worked at local sawmills and logged. He was of the Pentecostal faith.
Survivors included four sons: Gene Jackson and George Jackson, both of Poplar Bluff, Mo, Doys (Brenda) Jackson of Malden, Mo., and Frankie (Janet) Jackson of Cape Girardeau, Mo.; five daughters: Minnie Miller and Linda Knapp, both of Michigan, Wanda Harvell of Campbell, Mo., Chris Jackson and Carol Jackson, both of Advance, Mo.; a sister, Pauline (Les) Hodson of Pittsburg, Illinois; and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, one sister, Evie Hood, and one brother, Doyle Jackson.
Visitation and funeral services will be held on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022, at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, Mo. Visitation will be from noon until service time at 2:00 p.m. Funeral services will begin at 2:00 pm with Brother Dale Holman officiating. Burial will follow in Berrong Cemetery near Gipsy, Mo.
