Regina Sue (Slinkard) Garland

Regina Sue Garland, 60, of Marble Hill, MO, passed away peacefully on June 24, 2025, at Southeast Hospital, surrounded by her loving family.

Born on November 20, 1964, in St. Louis, Missouri, Regina lived a life marked by warmth, generosity, and an unwavering love for her family, friends, and faith.

Regina and Robert Garland were united in marriage on October 9, 2021, on the family farm. She was a devoted wife to Robert Garland and a proud mother to her children: Kyle (Laci) Hamlin, Wyatt Hamlin, Brittany Hamlin, Derek (Tianna) Garland, and Amber (Steven) Green. She also cherished her role as grandma to her beloved grandchildren: Kadence, Kynlee, Lexi, Kameron, Blaiklee, Ridgelyn, Kade, and Eli.

Regina was the sister of Dewayne (Lori) Slinkard and the late Kenneth Slinkard.

Her love for family extended beyond blood. She was the heart of every gathering, always making sure everyone was cared for and well-fed. Her homemade dumplings and famous pies were a staple at family meals and a true expression of her love.

Known for her nurturing spirit and busy hands, Regina never sat still for long.. unless it was for one of her cherished afternoon naps. She had a deep affection for animals and found peace in the saddle while riding her horse. Her faith was her foundation, and her church was central to her life.

Regina’s strength, kindness, and joyful presence will be deeply missed by all who knew her. She leaves behind a legacy of love, care, and countless treasured memories.

Services will be held at Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, MO. Visitation will be from 2:00pm to 5:00pm on Sunday June 29th. Funeral Service will be held on Monday June 30th beginning at 10:00am.

Burial will follow at Pulliam Cemetery near Scopus, Missouri.
