Robert Paul Brown

Robert "Bob" Paul Brown, age 72, of Jackson, Missouri, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 29, 2025, at The Lutheran Home in Cape Girardeau, Missouri. He was born November 4, 1952, in Saint Louis, Missouri, to the late Wilford and Juanita (Rhodes) Brown.

Known to most as Bob, but lovingly called “Bobby” by his wife, Debi. Bob was a proud car enthusiast, especially when it came to his beloved Fords, and nothing made him light up quite like his Ford Mustangs. He even owned his very own Mustang, which he talked about with unmistakable pride. He worked as a car salesman at Lutesville Ford for seven years before beginning a long and dedicated career at Procter & Gamble, from which he later retired.

Bob had a special love for watching crime dramas on TV, never turning down a good mystery. He and his wife, Debi, shared a fondness for seafood and could often be found enjoying dinner together at Red Lobster, their favorite spot.

He is survived by his loving wife, Debra (Ridings) Brown; daughter, Becky (Johnathan) Deck; stepchildren, Matt (Karrie) Zschille and Christi (Keith) Peters; brother, Derek Brown; grandchild, Tucker Deck; and step-grandchildren, Keagan Zschille, Maklain Zschille, Sydney Peters, Peyton Peters, and Brynn Peters.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Arrangements are being handled by Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, Missouri. Visitation will be from 10:00am to 12:00pm with Funeral Service beginning at 12:00pm on Thursday, November 6th with Eric Laffoon officiating. Burial to follow at Hurricane Fork Cemetery.

Those honored to serve as pallbearers include Johnathan Deck, Tucker Deck, Matt Zschille, Keagan Zschille, Maklain Zschille, and Leonard Fullbright.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made out to Safe Harbor Animal Sanctuary of Jackson, Missouri.
