Rodger William Trankle, 64, of Jackson, Mo., formerly of Leopold, Mo., died July 11, 2022, near Millersville, Mo. Born on April 2, 1958, in Lutesville, Mo., he was the son of the late August J “Buzz” and Eileen Elizabeth Elfrink Trankle.
He worked as a bricklayer and was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Jackson.
Survivors include four children: Jerimiah Trankle, Josh Trankle and Luke Trankle, all of Cape Girardeau, Mo. and Gwendolyn Spurgeon of Cuba, Mo.; two brothers: Glen (BR) Trankle of Leopold, and Daniel Trankle of Kamiah, Idaho; four sisters: Linda Voss and Margie Siebenaler, both of St. Louis, Bonnie Hogue of Okesa, Oklahoma, and Evelyn Wille of Jackson; and eight grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents, a brother, Herbert Trankle, and a sister, Bernice Georger.
Visitation will be on Thursday morning from 9:00 a.m until 10:30 a.m. at Hutchings Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. A funeral Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at St. John Catholic Church in Leopold at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow in St. John’s Cemetery.
