Ruth Janice Miller

Ruth Janice Miller, age 82, of Glen Allen, passed away peacefully on June 8, 2025.

Born on January 20, 1943, in Glen Allen, Missouri, Ruth was the beloved daughter of the late Ernest Lincoln and Blanche Sitze. She was preceded in death by her parents, four sisters, and one brother.

Ruth was a loving mother to her children, Bobby (Robin) Miller & Tina Ivey and a proud grandmother to Daniel & Hannah Hagan. Her family was the center of her life and she was a constant source of love, strength, and comfort to those around her.

She had a passion for the simple joys in life such as spending time with loved ones, cooking delicious meals like her famous chicken and dumplings and homemade bread, and finding treasures while yard-saling. Ruth also enjoyed embroidery, a skill she practiced with care and creativity, leaving behind beautiful keepsakes that her family will treasure.

Ruth's warmth, kindness, and quiet strength touched many. Her presence will be deeply missed but fondly remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral arrangements are being handled by Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel and services will be announced at a later date.
