Theresa Dormeyer Obituary

Theresa Fee-Dormeyer, was taken into the arms of our heavenly father on Thursday March 28, 2024. She passed away with loved ones by her side at her home in Jackson Missouri. Theresa Marie, the daughter of Lawrence and Cora Fee, was born in Cape Girardeau Missouri on August 26, 1954. Upon coming into this world, Theresa was given a chosen Catholic name in faith, which seemed to fit her well regarding her tenacity and ability to persevere throughout life’s challenges. Theresa had a huge love for life and did not let anything get in the way of accomplishing whatever it was she had her mind set on. She was outgoing, full of personality and vivacious from a young age. Theresa spent some of her most memorable moments during her adolescent and young adult years riding and showing horses. She was a natural with her horses, carrying on a love for animals throughout her life. While growing up she was also a sister and a friend to her siblings. Theresa later found her calling as a beautician. She spent many years sharing her gift of creativity and design in a field that made others feel good about themselves. Theresa’s greatest accomplishments and her proudest moments will always be attributed to her three children, Jerry, Anissia and Devin. The love for her children was greater than ever in her final days. She fought a long and difficult battle with cancer. Although her time was limited, she never gave up for the sake of her children and grandchildren. Her willpower to persevere throughout her treatment never altered. Theresa’s smile and laughter will be greatly missed by so many who loved her. She will never be forgotten and will live on with our heavenly father until we all see her again. Theresa was preceded in death by her parents Lawrence and Cora Fee and her brothers Gary and Larry Fee. Theresa leaves behind four siblings Sandra Fee Glastetter, Becky Randol (John Randol), Judith Fee- McMullin, Terry Fee (Crystal Mudro), three wonderful children, Jerry Roth, Anissia Porter and Devin Dormeyer (Victoria Dormeyer), three grandchildren J.D. Roth, Xavier Porter, Alex Porter and her beautiful great grandchildren. Theresa’s wishes were for those who knew her, to celebrate her life and the time that you had with her. Do not shed tears and live life for every moment!!
