Timothy Long

Timothy Ray Long, 59, passed away July 3, 2022, at his home in Marble Hill, Missouri. Tim was born May 1, 1963 to the late James and Joyce (Dowd) Long in Fredericktown, Missouri.

Tim was a 1981 graduate from Woodland High School and later chose a profession in bricklaying as a tuck pointer. Tim spent a lot of time outdoors; hunting, fishing, riding four-wheelers and working on old tractors. Although, he liked working on all old tractors, he preferred Massey Fergusons. Tim was a member of Old Union Church and marked graves and kept books for Old Union Cemetery.

Survivors include: two sons: Tim (Jessica McCutchen) Long of Chaffee, Missouri, Josh (Amanda Barefoot) Long of Marble Hill, Missouri; three brothers: John Long, Joseph “Adam” Long, Robert “Bob” Long, all of Marble Hill, Missouri; two sisters: Brenda Jordan of Marble Hill, Missouri, Barbara Hutson of Jackson, Missouri; two grandchildren: Evan and Ian Long.

Tim was preceded in death by his parents, one sister; Monica Jansen and one brother: James Paul Long.

A Celebration of Life service will be held Saturday, July 9, 2022, at 10:00 A.M. at Old Union Church near Marble Hill, Missouri. Rev. Kenny Massa will officiate.
