Walter Leon Hawkes

Walter Leon Hawkes, 61, of Patton, Mo., died from injuries sustained in a motorcycle accident on April 16, 2022.

Born in St. Louis, Mo., on May 2, 1960, he was the son of George and Alta Logan Hawkes.  He worked as

a roofer..

He is survived by a son, Randy (Casey) Hawkes of Foley, Mo.; three daughters:  Tosha (Rob) Luhrsen of DeSoto, Mo, Melissa (Gary) Hawkes of Cedar Hill, Mo, Nicole (Jason) Hawkes of St. Clair, Mo;  a niece who was like a daughter, Debbie Stelzer of Winfield, Mo.;  sisters:  Connie Heubschman of Patton, Mo. and Ruby Jelinek of Winfield, Mo.; and grandchildren:  Devin Kinsey, Jaydin Kinsey, Adelin Luhrsen, Phoenix Hawkes, Peyton Markwardt, Rebecca Hawkes, and Colton Hawkes.

His parents and a brother, George, predeceased him.

A memorial service will be held at a future date.  Hutchings Funeral Chapel is assisting the family.
