Waverly June Yount

Waverly June Yount was born on June 12, 2024, at Barnes Jewish Children’s Hospital in St. Louis. She brought an immeasurable amount of joy and sass to the lives of those around her until her passing on September 20, 2024. Even as such a young age, she was full of attitude and life, often expressing her feelings with her vibrant facial expressions.

Known affectionately as “Junebug” and “Sassy Pants”, Waverly had a magnetic personality that drew people into her. She loved being the center of attention and opened her eyes wide to ensure she was never alone.  Her favorite pastime was listening to her daddy’s phone playing the Street Racing Channel, a true testament to her unique charm.

Waverly touched the hearts of many during her brief time on earth, leaving a lasting impression with her spirited demeanor. She was truly a little girl with a big personality, and her memory will be cherished by all who had the privilege to know her.

Services will be held on Thursday, September 26, 2024, at the Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. Visitation will be from 10:00 am until 12:00 pm. Funeral Service will begin at 12:00 pm. Burial will follow at Old Union Cemetery near Bessville.
