William Franklin Bagbey, 81, of Leopold (formally of Cape Girardeau), passed away peacefully on June 5, 2025, at Stonebridge Senior Living. Born on April 12, 1944, in Orange, California.
Son of William Hardwick Bagbey and Mary Madalyn (Moore) Bagbey-Slayden.
Frank worked at Lampley Electronics, Suedekum Electronics, H-B Printing and Publishing, Lowell’s Jewelry, and Nowell’s Camera Shop. He established West Side Camera and operated it for 25 years.
He was proceeded in death by his parents; William and Mary, a daughter; Elizabeth Eileen Bagbey, and a grandson; Franklin Nelson Elfrink.
He is survived by his daughter; Barbra (Kenneth) Elfrink, Grandchildren; Trenton, Jacob, Madeline, and Jerrikah, a Great-Grandson; Leland, a Great-Granddaughter; Eileen Elfrink, his sister; Pamela Bagbey, and brother; Kris Bagbey.
Frank was an avid fisherman, hunter, photographer, and collector.
There will not be any services. Frank says “goodbye” to all his family and friends.
