William David Grindstaff Jr., 49, of Marquand, passed away on December 11, 2023, in Cape Girardeau, at the Southeast Hospital. He was born on February 1, 1974, in Fredericktown, MO, to William and Wendy (Braswell) Grindstaff.

William worked as a cook and cashier. He loved to go exploring, adventuring, camping and hiking. He loved to spend time with his friends and family, building bonfires and enjoying the outdoors.

He is survived by his parents: William Grindstaff and Wendy Campbell; two brothers: Jason Wood Jr., Skeeter Charles Grindstaff; one sister: Kelly (Doug) Wood Whitner; numerous friends, nieces and nephews.

The Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill, MO is assisting the family during this time. No services have been made at this time.
