Willie Jean Deck Jr.

Willie Jean Deck, Jr., age 74, a lifelong resident of Glen Allen, Missouri, passed away on May 30, 2025, at Missouri Baptist Medical Center in St. Louis, Missouri. He was born on December 23, 1950, in Cape Girardeau, Missouri, the son of Willie Jean Deck and Delores Ella (Brewer) Deck.

Willie was a hardworking and devoted man who wore many hats throughout his life—working as a telephone contractor, a millwright, and in numerous other roles, always doing whatever was needed to care for his family. He was the rock of his family and the kind of man who believed in the value of a strong work ethic, a warm heart, and the love of Jesus Christ. He was a longtime member of New Salem Baptist Church in Marble Hill.

He was married to the love of his life, Debbie (Dry) Deck, for over 40 years. Together, they built a life filled with love, laughter, and shared adventures. Whether riding horses, working on the farm, camping, or road-tripping, Willie cherished every moment spent with Debbie and his beloved grandson, Cole, who was truly his pride and joy.

Willie was preceded in death by his parents, Willie and Delores Deck; grandparents, Ira Walter and Ruie Frances Deck, Charles and Helen Brewer; and one brother-in-law, Danny Welker.

He is survived by his loving wife, Debbie Deck of the home; three children: Joshua Deck (Josh Mayberry) of Newburgh, IN, Seth Deck (Kris Allen) of Piedmont, MO, and Anna Deck (Rush Feezor) of Jackson, MO; one cherished grandson, Cole Deck; One brother David (Pat) Deck of tillatoba, MS, one sister Peggy Welker of  NV; along with many other family and friends.

Services will be held on Monday, June 2, 2025, at the Hutchings-Pendergrass Funeral Chapel in Marble Hill. Visitation will be from 11:00 to 1:00 pm. Funeral Service will begin at 1:00 pm, with Bro. Randy Poole Officiating.  Burial will follow at Glen Allen Cemetery.
